We offer young people the chance to gain work experience in one of five Wakehurst departments; the Horticultural team, Learning team, Visitor Centre team, MSB team and Marketing and Strategic Communications Team.

Students spend a week alongside our experienced staff getting a behind the scenes look at Wakehurst, before spending their final day developing interview skills, interviewing each other and making their own podcasts about their experience on site.

Find out more about each department here – link to page with descriptions of each dept.
